Project Upahaar – Shreekara World Foundation

Shreekara World Foundation, committed to uplifting society’s most vulnerable sections, has launched Project Upahaar, an initiative dedicated to supporting underprivileged and poverty-stricken families. With compassion at its core, this project focuses on providing essential items to those in need, ensuring that no family is left without basic necessities, especially during harsh seasons.

The mission of Project Upahaar is simple yet impactful — “Spreading love, spreading warmth.” It aims to extend care, comfort, and assistance to families that are struggling due to financial hardships or other adverse circumstances. By organizing distribution drives, the project not only supplies essential items but also fosters a sense of community and empathy, encouraging others to contribute to the welfare of society.

One of the notable activities under Project Upahaar was the winter clothes distribution drive, which took place on 6th December 2020 in Balijan village, Assam. In this event, sweaters, blankets, and other warm clothing items were collected and distributed among 30 needy families. For many recipients, these winter essentials were a vital support during the cold season, providing relief and comfort when they needed it the most.

The event was successfully coordinated by Mr. Bipul Khanal, a dedicated volunteer of Shreekara World Foundation from Assam. His leadership, organizational skills, and unwavering commitment ensured the smooth execution of the event. By efficiently managing resources, coordinating with volunteers, and personally engaging with the community, he played a key role in making the initiative a success. Shreekara World Foundation extends its heartfelt appreciation for his enthusiasm and devotion to social causes.
