Project Aranya
“He who plants a tree, plants a hope.” – Lucy Larcom
Shreekara World Foundation’s ‘Project Aranya’ is a campaign to raise awareness on current environmental issues and solutions. Shreekara is dedicated to enabling volunteers and others around us to actively take part in making a visible difference to the environment both physical and social for a ‘Better Tomorrow’.
Save Trees, Save Earth!
Trees are essential for life — they give us oxygen, purify the air, conserve water, and support countless species. Shreekara World Foundation urges volunteers across the country to plant as many trees as possible and care for them. Every year on 5th June, Shreekara celebrates World Environment Day by organizing tree plantation drives and awareness programs.
Our goal is to plant one million (10 lakhs) trees by 2026, creating greener spaces and protecting the environment. By joining this effort, each volunteer helps build a healthier planet for current and future generations.
Save Birds, Save Nature!
Do you remember the little sparrows chirping and dancing around us during our childhood? Today, these birds are disappearing rapidly due to habitat loss and pollution. Shreekara is committed to helping them by building shelters and encouraging people to install small birdhouses in their homes and societies.
Providing safe spaces, food, and water can make a huge difference. Sparrows and other birds are vital for maintaining ecological balance, helping with pest control and pollination.
Through these initiatives, Shreekara World Foundation aims to promote environmental care, biodiversity, and community action. Together, let’s plant trees, protect birds, and create a sustainable future for all.
