To ensure that children studying in a government school have meaningful access to technology and opportunities to develop the digital skills increasingly essential for their education and future careers.
“Once you learn to read, you will be forever free.”
With this noble thought in mind Shreekara World Foundation (SWF) distributed books including dictionaries and other essential items to 35 underprivileged students at Ananda Samarakoon Vidhyalaya, Wewala Piliyandala near Colombo, Sri Lanka. This event was organized under Project Shiksha on Wednesday, 27th October 2021. This gesture was highly appreciated by the local authorities, school’s administration, parents and children. There was smile in all child’s face on receiving the gift packet.
This event was coordinated by SWF’s local volunteer Arachige Don Kahadawela (Sumith).
