To support vulnerable communities by addressing their urgent basic needs during the disaster and to uphold the mission of Shreekara World Foundation by serving humanity with compassion and dignity.
Shreekara World Foundation, North East Branch, continued its humanitarian response to the Assam floods through Phase-II of its Flood Relief Initiative under Project Devadatta on 1 st September 2026. The initiative was undertaken to provide immediate support to families affected by the devastating flood situation and to help them meet some of their basic household and daily needs during a difficult period. A total of 10 families were supported through the distribution of essential relief materials, including kitchen items, mattresses, bedsheets, groceries, food products and school bags for children, along with other necessary supplies. For the Foundation, the initiative was not simply about distributing relief materials. It was an effort to stand beside affected families, listen to their difficulties and remind them that they were not alone in their time of need.
