To provide immediate relief and essential supplies to families affected by the floods and to stand in solidarity with the affected families and offer hope and reassurance during a time of crisis.
In response to the severe flood situation affecting several villages in Jorhat district, Shreekara World Foundation organized the first phase of its Flood Relief Initiative on 31st July 2026. Guided by the Foundation's principle, "Seva Paramo Dharmah" (Service is the Highest Duty), the initiative aimed to provide immediate assistance to families struggling with the impact of the floods. The Foundation successfully distributed essential relief materials to 110 flood-affected families across the villages of Goria Sapori Gaon, Namgorumora, and Bhogonia Chuk, helping to address their immediate needs and offering hope during a challenging time.
