INTRODUCTION
Shreekara World Foundation, committed to promoting sustainable rural development and strengthening agricultural livelihoods thus, successfully organized a Seed Distribution Program on 14th June 2026 in Ruthe Village, Palghar District, Maharashtra under its annual initiative Project Bhumiputra.
The initiative was undertaken to support local farmers at the beginning of the cultivation season by providing quality seeds and encouraging improved agricultural practices.
Access to quality seeds is a critical factor in ensuring higher crop productivity and improving farmers' income. Through this intervention, Shreekara World Foundation aimed to empower farming communities and contribute to the overall socio-economic development of the village.
PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION
The seed distribution Program was organized in collaboration with community stakeholders and local coordinators. Prior to the event, discussions were held with village representatives and farmers to identify their agricultural needs. The distribution event witnessed enthusiastic participation from farmers across Ruthe Village.
The initiative was coordinated and successfully implemented under the guidance of:
